CUET UG 2024 Eligibility Criteria

The Common University Entrance Examination (CUET UG) is a gateway to get admissions into various undergraduate programs in esteemed universities all across the country.

To appear for the CUET UG 2024 examination, a candidate must meet the following eligibility requirements.

Age Limit

To apply for the CUET UG Exam 2024, there is no age limit for the candidates. A candidate who has completed their class 12 are eligible to apply for the examination.

However, it is to be noted that some universities have their age limit criteria, so, the candidates will be required to fulfill the age criteria of the university/institution/organization to which they want to take admission. 

Educational Qualification

A candidate who is applying for the CUET UG 2024 exam is required to have these qualifying examinations.

• A candidate must have completed their 10+2 examination from a recognized central/state board, and the candidate must have studied at least 5 if passed their 12 senior school examination from NIOS (National Institute of Open Schooling).
• Applicants who have completed the final examination of the 2-year course can apply for the joint service wings of NDA.
• Any 10+2 examination done in India or any foreign country that is approved by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) is eligible to apply for the CUET UG 2024 exam.
• A candidate must possess a Higher Secondary Certificate of Vocational Examination.
• A candidate having any 3-year diploma recognized by AICTE or a State board in technical education is eligible to apply for the exam. 
• If an applicant is applying from London/Cambridge/Sri Lanka they must have a General Certificate Education (GCE) at the Advanced (A) level.
• High School Certificate Examination of the Cambridge University or International Baccalaureate Diploma of the International Baccalaureate Office, Geneva. 

Attempt Limit

All the applicants are informed that there is no specific limit to attempt the CUET UG 2024 exam, hence the candidates are free to apply for the CUET UG 2024 examination as long as they want to.

It is to be noted that a candidate who wants to get admission to a university via the CUET UG 2024 exam, they are required to be aware of the policies regarding the quota, category, relaxation, reservations, qualification, subject combinations, preferences, etc. of the respective University.
