NEET SS 2023 Exam Postponed, Here’s Predicted Date

NEET SS 2023 Exam Postponed: The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences has postponed the NEET SS 2023 exam. Candidates who have applied for the NEET SS 2023 exam can check the notice online at the official website at natboard.edu.in

As per the official notification, “In wake of the 18th G20 Summit scheduled to be held on 9th and 10th September 2023 in India and consequent travel restrictions which shall now be in place in Delhi from 8th September 2023 to 10th September 2023, the conduct of NEET-SS 2023, which was announced to be held on 9th and 10th September 2023 across the country, has been deferred.”

The NBEMS in an official notice further stated that Srinagar has no longer been considered as an exam city due to security reasons. The Federation of All India Medical Association however has requested an additional exam centre for candidates from Srinagar.

It is expected that the NEET SS 2023 examination is going to be conducted at the end of September 2023. The NEET SS 2023 examination is for students seeking admission to DM, MCh and DrNB super speciality courses.

The NEET SS scores will not be considered for admissions to AIIMS New Delhi and other AIIMS campuses with super speciality programmes.

Why NEET SS 2023 Postponed?

Due to the G20 Summit, the Delhi government has decided to close Delhi schools, colleges, government/private offices, etc. because of security reasons.

Arvind Kejriwal at the conference said, “We’re happy to have this important meeting in our city. To make sure everyone is safe and things go well, we’re making these days a holiday. I hope everyone helps and understands.”

On 31 August 2023, the NBEMS also announced by releasing the official notice that the NEET SS 2023 examination is delayed because of the G20 Summit.
