• Smiling is acceptable as long as you maintain a natural expression.
• The candidate is distinct from the background and in sharp focus.
• The best backgrounds are those with solid colours.
• Eyes must be open and facing the camera.
• If not required for medical reasons, tinted glasses must not be worn daily.
• The person’s full face must be clearly visible.
