One of the toughest medical entrance examinations i.e. the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Undergraduate courses (NEET-UG) 2024 is set to be held on 5 May 2024, whereas, with every passing day, the examination is approaching nearer the candidates.

However, during the phase of the NEET 2024 examination not only the aspirants but their parents and guardians are also worried about their ward’s medical entrance examination. 

Parents & guardians always make sure that their ward does not commit any mistake that is not acceptable by the examination authorities of the NEET, as their ward will debarred from taking the exam, and always look for instructions for themselves so that their ward (candidate) should not make any mistake in exam.

NEET UG 2024 Information For Parents & Guardians

Parents and guardians should provide proper guidance to their children/wards before they leave for the NEET UG 2024 exam. Some of the instructions that parents/guardians have to be followed by their ward are below.

• The candidate will not be allowed to enter the NEET UG 2024 exam centre after 1:30 pm (as the exam will start at 2 PM). Therefore, it is required that the candidate should leave their home well in advance taking into consideration various factors such as traffic, location of the centre, weather conditions, etc. 
• The candidate will follow all the instructions and maintain discipline in the NEET UG 2024 examination hall.
• The candidate will not breach any examination rule. 
• The candidate will not use or promote any unfair means of activity during the examination.
• In case, the candidate finds another candidate using unfair means in the examination, the same will be immediately informed to the Invigilators on duty. 
• The candidates are required to bring their admit card, 2 passport-size photographs, valid Id proof, PwD certificate (if applicable), and one postcard-size (4” X 6”) color photograph with a white background to the examination centre.
• The candidates must provide the mobile number and e-mail of the parent or guardian during the submission of the online application form for NEET (UG) 2024 so that the final scorecard of the examination will also be sent to them. 
• In case, your ward is found breaching any of the examination rules, the candidate (your ward) will not be permitted to enter the NEET UG 2024 examination centre and will not be allowed to appear in the examination. 
• If your ward indulges in any unwanted activities, he/she shall be debarred from taking this examination as per the rules and shall also be liable for criminal action and/or any other action deemed fit by the NTA.
