JEE Aspirant Beaten To Death In Kota: A 17-year-old JEE aspirant was allegedly beaten in the Indira Vihar area of Kota, Rajasthan on 11 December 2023 (Monday). The police stated that the student was beaten by a group of boys with iron rods and chains on the evening of 11 December 2023.

As per the police’s statement, the boy is a native of Uttar Pradesh’s Gorakhpur is studying in class 11, and was also preparing for the IIT JEE examination for 2 years.

Further, the police added, that he was assaulted by some youths who are reportedly were coaching students at a tea stall in his locality. After the incident, he was rushed to a nearby hospital and treated for his injuries.
The boy was reported dead in the New Medical Hospital and his body was kept in the mortuary for a mortem to be conducted after the family of the deceased arrived from Uttar Pradesh.

The eyewitness of the case stated that he saw the boy at the tea stall on Monday evening. Suddenly a group of boys rushed toward him with iron rods and chains and eventually attacked him. The incidents take place around 7 PM stated the eyewitness of the case.
After the scene, the boy went into his room where his condition worsened. Then he was admitted to the hospital to treat his wounds, where he died due to excess injuries, stated the police officials.
The Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Bhawani Singh, is the officer in charge of that area stated that around 7-8 coaching students are the prime suspects of the case and are being questioned by the police.
However, the reason behind the fatal attack is unknown.
