The Directorate of Technical Education announced on its official website that “the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main, a national exam, will be used to admit students to engineering degree programs in the state beginning in the 2024–2025 academic year”.

Admissions to Goa’s B.Pharm. degree program in pharmacy will be made in 2024–2025 based on the best overall score in Chemistry and Physics, either at NEET-2024 or JEE-Main 2024.
As per the DTE Goa official notice, the students of Goa seeking admission to BTech courses must appear and qualify in the JEE Main 2024 while Pharmacy aspirants have the option to take either JEE Mains or NEET UG 2024, or both.
The National Testing Agency in the month of September 2023 has released the NTA exam calendar 2024 which has details regarding the JEE Main and NEET 2024 session exam dates.
The Joint Entrance Examination, JEE Main 2024 will be conducted as a computer-based examination in two sessions: January to February and April. Registration for JEE Main 2024 is currently open for the first session on jeemain.nta.ac.in
While the NEET UG 2024 examination is scheduled to be held on 5 May 2024 in an offline mode, whereas the registration for the examination has not started yet.
