As per the JEE Main 2024 official notice, the last date to register online is 30 November 2023 (9:00 PM), and the last date for successful transactions of fees through Credit/Debit Card/Net-Banking/UPI
is 30 November 2023 (up to 11:50 P.M.).
Last year, the National Testing Agency (NTA) re-introduced the 75 percent marks eligibility criteria for the JEE Main examination. This means that candidates who wish to get admission into their desired institute must have scored at least 75% in their class 12th to qualify for JEE Main.
Before the COVID pandemic, there was no such requirement and no minimum 12th percentage was necessary for JEE Main 2024. Candidates who fail to meet the 75 percent criteria will be disqualified and will not be granted admission to prestigious institutes like IITs, NITs, IIITs, and CFTIs.
Candidates are advised to check the JEE Main eligibility criteria very carefully before applying for the session 2024.
The JEE Main 2024 examination for session 1 is scheduled to be conducted between 24 January & 1 February 2024 and session 2 between 1 April & 15 April 2024 as per the NTA exam calendar 2024.

- 10th and 12th marksheet.
- Domicile.
- Category certificate/Caste certificate (if any).

Steps To Register For JEE Main 2024 Examination
Consider the steps mentioned below to register for the JEE Main 2024 examination for session 1:
- Visit the official website of JEE Main i.e. jeemain.nta.ac.in
- On the home page, visit the “Latest News” section.
- Click on the ” JEE(Main) 2024 Registration open (Click Here)” option.
- Fill in the required details like name, parents name, DOB, etc.
- Now you will receive an OTP on your mentioned email.
- Enter the OTP then click on “Verify”.
- Upload the documents required in the mentioned format.
- Now, pay the registration fee.
- Download the JEE Main 2024 filled registration form and print it out for future reference.

The registration fee for JEE Main 2024 varies by category for boys and girls. Boys and girls in the ST/SC/PWD categories will pay the same registration fee of Rs. 500/-.
