The JEE Main 2024 registration window is about to close, and candidates are expecting an extension in accordance with the previous year’s trends. However, there has been no official announcement from the authority regarding whether or not JEE Main 2024 registration will be extended.

The authority has not given any update about the JEE Main 2024 registration last date extension for the session 1 examination yet. 

But, as per previous trends, the authority will extend the last date of registration for JEE Main examination for 3-4 days. So for this year, the NTA may extend the registration date for the examination for a few days.

The NTA has started the registration process for the JEE Main 2024 session 1 examination from November 1, 2023, on its new official website jeemain.nta.ac.in

The first session of JEE Main 2024 registration will be closed by NTA on November 30, 2023, at 9:00 PM, and the deadline for successfully completing fee transactions via credit/debit card, net banking, or UPI is also November 30, 2023, up until 11:50 P.M.

JEE Main 2024 Session 1 Registration Date Extended?

No, the JEE Main 2024 registration date for the session 1 examination has not been extended yet, but it is expected that the authority will extend the date for 3-4 days in order to support the student community and invite more applications for the examination.

Last year the JEE Main 2023 registration date was extended by the authority for 2 days and the authority also issued a notice regarding this on its official website.

This year it is expected that the NTA will extend the JEE Main 2024 registration last date for session 1 exam till 3 to 5 Dec 2023. But no official statement related to this has been published on the official website of JEE Main.

So, the candidates are advised to not rely on the JEE Main 2024 registration last date extension, and are instructed to fill out their JEE Main 2024 registration form before 30 Nov 2023 to avoid the application form rejection and other mishaps.
