CBSE Practical Exams 2024: Board releases Official Guidelines for Schools & Students

CBSE Practical Exam 2024 Guidelines: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has published a notice regarding the guidelines for the class 10 and 12 board practical exams 2024 on their official website i.e. cbse.nic.in 

The PDF contains information regarding the guidelines that the school authorities and students are required to follow during the commencement of board practical exams 2024. 

“All the stakeholders are requested to take the following necessary actions to ensure the completion of Practical Examinations/Internal Assessments/Project Assessments” reads the notice. 

On 22 December 2023, the CBSE also released a notice remarking the school authorities for the timely completion of the board practical exams in 2024.

Guidelines For School Authority

• The school authority must ensure that the syllabus of the practical examination 2024 is completed prior to the practical exam starting. 
• Necessary arrangements like stocking the laboratories and identification of Internal examiners must be done in time. 
• The practical examination of class 12 will only be conducted by an external examiner appointed by the board. 
• Make sure parents and students are informed about the commencement of the practical examination 2024. 
• Compile all the required equipment needed for the practical exam beforehand. 
• A list of candidates appearing in the practical examination 2024 with correct subjects and categories must be uploaded on the online system. 

Guidelines For Students

• Students and parents must make sure that their subjects and categories are being reflected correctly in the online system. 
• Candidates must ensure that they are aware of the subjects of which the practical exam 2024 will be conducted. 
• The aspirants must appear for the practical exam as per the prescribed schedule. No second chance to take the exam will be provided by the board.
