CLAT Admission: Check Expected Cut-Off for 2024 and Previous Year Trends

CLAT 2024 Expected Cut-Off: The Consortium of NLUs successfully conducted the CLAT 2024 examination on 3 December 2024 in various test centres across the country for admissions to undergraduate and postgraduate law courses.

Candidates who successfully appeared for the CLAT 2024 examination are now searching for the cut-off marks to get admission to national law universities (NLUs) and other top law colleges.

As per trends, a candidate with a score of 78-85 has a good chance of getting admission into one of the top NLUs. Whereas, a score of 90-95 would be quite healthy for admission to the top-ranked NLSIU Bengaluru and NALSAR Hyderabad.

The CLAT 2024 result date has also been announced and the result is set to be released on 10 December 2023. The cut-off marks for the CLAT 2024 examination are expected, as the exact cut-off marks for the CLAT 2024 examination are not announced by the authority.

CLAT 2024 Expected Cut-Off

The CLAT 2024 examination consists of 120 questions of 1 mark each, and the marks scored by the candidates will determine their merit & ranks used for admissions in NLUs and other law universities.

CLAT cutoffs for 2024 are expected to be 95-98 for general and 80-85 for SC/ST/OBC for top-ranked institutes, whereas, it might be 80-90 for general and 70-80 for SC/ST/OBC under the new pattern of marking by the Consortium of NLUs.

The candidates who score 100+ marks in the CLAT 2024 examination will get admission to the top NLUs of India.

However, all the cut-offs discussed above are tentative, and no official announcement has been made by the authority regarding this till now.
