A major update regarding the CUET UG 2024 mode of examination and registration has been announced. For the first time, NTA will conduct the exam CUET UG exam in both online and offline (hybrid) mode.

For the last two years, the CUET UG has been held in online mode but this year the authority has decided to conduct the exam in “Hybrid Mode” and along with this some major changes can also be seen in the CUET UG exam format, the number of subjects allowed, and the difficulty level of the exam.

The National Testing Agency has already announced the CUET UG 2024 examination dates and as per the NTA’s exam calendar, the CUET UG 2024 exam is scheduled to be conducted from 15 May 2024 to 31 May 2024.
According to the media reports is expected that the registration link for the Common University Entrance Test Undergraduate (CUET UG) 2024 exam will be activated in the 4rd week of February 2024.
CUET UG 2024: Registration Date & Other Updates
The CUET UG 2024 registrations are expected to start on 25 February 2024, an NTA official who told News9.
Last year, the CUET UG application form was released in the evening time around 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., so this year it is also expected that the registration form will be available in the evening time.
UGC chairman M Jagadesh Kumar said in an interview with Indian Express that, “Subjects with higher registration will be conducted using OMR sheets instead of the Computer Based Test (CBT) format”.
The decision to conduct the exam in hybrid mode is taken so that candidates nationwide belonging to rural areas can also appear for the CUET UG 2024 and reduce exam days.
NTA also plans to increase the number of exam centers for CUET UG 2024 in India using schools, colleges, and universities to reduce travel distance for the candidates.
