If any candidate has received communication from the IISc regarding defective forms, they will be required to make corrections to their application form by 11 December 2023.

This is the last chance for applicants to make corrections in the GATE 2024 application form, no further chances will be provided.
“In case you received communication from us that your application was scrutinized and found to be defective, please log in to GOAPS (goaps.iisc.ac.in/login) immediately and rectify the defect on or before December 11, 2023.” reads the notice.
Aspirants can make changes to their GATE 2024 defective application form by logging into the portal using their email/enrollment ID and password.
Steps To Rectify GATE 2024 Application Form
Follow the steps mentioned below to make corrections to the GATE 2024 application form:
- Go to the official website of IISc i.e. gate2024.iisc.ac.in
- Scroll down on the home of the website.
- Click on the “Login” tab.
- The application rectification window will be displayed on the screen.
- Enter your enrollment ID or email ID, password, and captcha, and click on the login button.
- Your GATE 2024 application form will be displayed on the screen.
- Make the required corrections in the form and submit it.
- Keep a copy of the application form for future reference.

The IISc will release the GATE 2024 admit card on 3 January 2023 and the examination will be conducted on 3, 4, 10, and 11 February 2024.
