How will India Germany Agreement Benefit Students
The agreement on migration and mobility, which will encourage more students to apply to colleges in both countries, is one of the pact’s key takeaways.
Indian students will be able to pursue joint degrees and dual degree programmes through the migration and mobility agreement, and it will be guaranteed between Indian and German universities at the university level.
When it comes to studying abroad, India’s students seem to like Germany the most. The German government offers financial aid to students, enables stays of up to 18 months after graduation, and offers other benefits, making it the country of choice.
German students are also receiving educational benefits from the Indian government. In May 2022, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi declared that his country will make it easier for German students to enroll in Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) through initiatives like Study in India.
Indian students will have additional options to participate in research programmes in Germany according to the agreement between the two organisations that was inked on December 5.
This agreement will support Germany’s and India’s initiatives to increase the internationalisation of higher education systems.
