Maharashtra Board Exam 2024 Timing Changed: The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) has issued an official notice regarding the Maharashtra board exam timings for the session 2024 examination.

The notice was released on the official website of MSBSHSE @mahahsscboard.in, stating that no extra time is provided for the students to read the Maharashtra board exam question paper 2024.

The notice was released on Wednesday, 24 January 2024, as per the notice the Maharashtra Board exam 2024 which was previously scheduled to be held from 11 AM to 2 PM in the morning shift will now held from 11 AM to 2:10 PM and afternoon shift of the exam which was 3 PM to 6 PM will now be conducted from 3 PM to 6:10 PM.

Maharashtra Board 2024 Official Notice Details

The official notice reads that “previously the board exam question papers were distributed in the examination hall 10 minutes before the scheduled time of the examination for the candidates 12th class and 10th class examination to read the question papers”.

But the facility of distributing board exam question papers ten minutes before the scheduled time of the examination to the students was cancelled from the February-March 2023 examination as the board is getting rumors of question papers going viral on mobiles and other social media.

The official notice also stated that the 12th exam is an important stage in the life of the students, parents, and society members to keep a close eye on these exams so that the board is not going to provide 10 min extra to the students to prevent such incidents and conduct the examination smoothly in a safe, fear-free and copy-free environment.

However, keeping in mind the interests of the students and considering the demands of the parents and students, the authority said that “ten minutes after the scheduled time of the examination is being extended for the Maharashtra board exam 2024 like last year” added the official notice.

The Maharashtra board official notice also stated that the candidates have to reach the examination hall at 10.30 am for the morning session and 2.30 pm for the afternoon session along with their admit cards.

The Maharashtra board exam 2024 is scheduled to be held from 1 March 2024 to 26 March 2024 for class 10 whereas, the class 12 examination is scheduled to be held from 21 February 2024 to 19 March 2024.
