NEET SS 2023 Counselling Latest Updates: The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has allowed resignation for the AIIMS INI SS seat allotted candidates without forfeiture in round 1 of the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Super Specialty (NEET SS) counselling 2023.

The authority has issued a notice regarding this on its official website today, 28 November 2023 stating that “INI allotted candidates who want to resign their round-1 seat allotted by the MCC should send their INI-SS allotment letter to MCC on email id – [email protected] upto 11:00 A.M of 29.11.2023”.

“However, the candidates who send emails along with required documents will only be allowed to resign up to 05:00 P.M. of 30.11.2023. After this, the candidates will not be eligible to participate in further rounds of NEET SS Counselling 2023 conducted by MCC” added the official notice.
Candidates who have been assigned to INIs and want to leave their seats may approach their assigned college to resign and collect their original documents within the time given by the authority.
Candidates should ensure that the resignation letter is generated by The college authorities ‘online’ from the MCC portal. Any form of offline resignation by the college will be regarded as ‘Null and Void’.
The authority also releases an undertaking for the resignation of the round 1 seat allotted to the INI SS candidate, in which the candidate declares that he/she wishes to resign their seat allotted in NEET SS 2023 round 1 counselling.
NEET SS 2023 Counselling Revised Schedule
The MCC has also revised the schedule for the NEET SS 2023. Now the candidates can report at their allotted colleges and institutes after the NEET SS 2023 round 1 counselling till 30 September 2023.
The authority has also made changes in the NEET SS 2023 round 2 counselling dates, now the registration for NEET SS 2023 round 2 counselling will start from 5 December 2023 up to 12 noon of 10 December 2023 (as per server timings).
Seat allotment for the same will be released on 13 December 2023 whereas, the candidates will report to their allotted institutes from 14 December 2023 to 20 December 2023.
