NEET UG 2024 Information Bulletin Out, Here’s All You Need To Know

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the much-awaited NEET UG 2024 Information Bulletin, giving applicants a thorough road map for the national exam for medical and dental institutes in India.

On 09 February 2024, the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Under Graduate (NEET-UG) 2024 information bulletin along with the registration link was activated on the new official website at neet.ntaonline.in

The NEET UG 2024 information bulletin is released in Hindi and English language and has details about the NEET exam schedule, eligibility criteria, exam pattern, registration/application fees, exam cities, and other more important details that a medical assistant should know.

NEET UG 2024 Information Bulletin Details

The NEET UG 2024 information bulletin contains several details regarding the examination. They are as follows:-

Exam Schedule

The NEET UG 2024 information bulletin provides the candidates with the full details about the NEET UG 2024 examination schedule. As per the NEET UG 2024 information bulletin, the registration process for the examination was started on 9 February 2024.

Registration/Application Fees

The information bulletin of the NEET UG 2024 examination also describes the application fees for the NEET UG 2024 examination for different categories. As per the information bulletin, there are no changes in the NEET UG 2024 registration fees.

As per the NEET UG 2024 information bulletin, the registration fees for every category are:-

• General/ NRI = Rs 1700
• EWS/OBC = 1600
• SC/ST/PwD/Third Gender = Rs 1000

Eligibility Criteria

The NEET UG 2024 information bulletin also makes the candidates understand the required eligibility criteria for the examination. There is a minimum age limit of 17 years that a candidate needs to complete to apply for the NEET UG 2024 examination

Exam Pattern

As per the NEET UG 2024 exam pattern, the examination is comprised of 4 subjects and each subject will consist of 2 sections i.e. section A of 35 questions and section B of 15 questions. From ‘section B’ candidates have to answer any 10 questions.

The duration for the examination is 3 hours and 20 minutes whereas, every correct answer will be awarded for 4 marks and there is a negative marking of 1 mark for every indirect answer in the NEET UG 2024 examination.

Syllabus

As per the NEET UG 2024 information bulletin, there are some changes in the syllabus of NEET (UG) – 2024 to the previous year. Those topics which are neither being taught anywhere in the school board nor available in the latest book of NCERT, have been deleted. The syllabus has been revised and reduced to focus on core concepts.

Exam Cities

For the upcoming NEET UG 2024 exam exam cities has been increased from 499 to 554. The candidates who are applying for the NEET UG 2024 examination have the choice to select four convenient cities as their examination cities 

It is to be noted that the selection of cities will be limited to the state of the current address. For the convenience of candidates, they can also choose their city or neighbouring cities in their state of residence, rather than distant cities in another state.
