NEET UG 2024 Key Dates & Changes: All We Know So Far

The National Testing Agency will release the NEET UG 2024 exam city intimation slip anytime soon. The reopened NEET registration window was closed on 10 April 2024 up to 11:50 PM.

All the information regarding the upcoming NEET session is available on the official website but some candidates are still confused about a few details regarding the NEET 2024 examination.

NEET UG 2024 Exam, All We Know So Far

In September 2023, the NTA released its annual examination calendar for all the examinations conducted by the authority. Following the exam calendar, it comes to know that the NEET UG 2024 examination is scheduled to be held on 5 May 2024 from 2 PM to 5:20 PM.

Following the examination date, the NMC in November 2023, released the syllabus for the NEET 2024 examination, the syllabus was also released on the official website of the NTA. As per the NEET UG 2024 syllabus, the NTA has reduced some of the topics from the syllabus for the candidate’s convenience.

Later in December 2023, the authority issued the frequently asked questions for the NEET 2024 examination by the candidates. The questions raised by the candidates are related to the syllabus and online application forms.

Then, on Friday, 9 February 2024, the NTA started the registration process, whereas the information bulletin was also released on the same date. The last day to apply for NEET was 9 March 2024 which is now extended till 16 March 2024.

It is also to be noted by the candidates that the NTA has changed the domain of the NEET website and all the events are going to take place on the NEET UG 2024 new website @neet.ntaonline.in

The information bulletin contains information about the NEET UG 2024 registration procedure, examination fees, eligibility criteria, weeding rules, examination instructions, and many more.

It is to be noted that there is an increase in the number of examination cities for the NEET 2024 examination whereas, no foreign exam centre is included in the list. However, the registration fees for the exam are Rs 1700 for the general/ NRI candidates, Rs 1600 for the EWS/OBC categories, and Rs 1000 for the SC/ST/PwD and third-gender candidates.

The application correction process took place from 18 March to 20 March 2024 (Up to 11:50 P.M.) and now the NEET exam city intimation slip is awaited.

As per the research in the city intimation slip will be released in April 2024 however till now no official details have been released.
