The NEET UG 2024 syllabus has been finalized by the Under Graduate Medical Education Board (UGMEB) of the National Medical Council (NMC) and uploaded on its official website at nmc.org.in

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has been conducting the NEET UG national-level examination for admission in various undergraduate medical courses (MBBS and BDS) and allied health science courses (B.Pharm, B.D.S, B.Sc, nursing, etc) in India.
As per the NTA exam calendar 2024 of the NTA, the NEET UG 2024 examination is going to be held on 5 May 2024 (Sunday) and the authority has previously also released the list of deleted topics for the NEET Biology syllabus.
NEET UG 2024 Syllabus
The NEET UG 2024 syllabus is expected to remain the same and unchanged as the syllabus of NEET UG 2023, however, the syllabus covers the topics of physics, chemistry, and biology with some minor changes.
As per the latest release, the NEET UG 2024 syllabus is reduced from 97 chapters to 79 chapters.
The NEET UG 2024 syllabus will be divided into 3 sections:-
- Physics – 45 questions
- Chemistry – 45 questions
- Biology – 90 questions (45 questions Botany + 45 questions Zoology)
A total of 180 questions will be answered by the NEET UG candidates for the 2024 examination.

The NEET UG 2024 biology section is comprised of 90 questions (45 questions in Botany + 45 questions in Zoology). Both of the subjects i.e. botany and zoology have 2 sub-sections that contain 45 questions in each subject:-
