FMG Aspirants From Ukraine

Foreign Medical Graduates from Ukraine who have completed an online medical course in a foreign medical institution (corresponding to an Indian MBBS course) with or without a one-year internship and have returned to India must apply for Provisional Registration with the relevant State Medical Councils.

Afterward, they must undergo a one-year compulsory medical examination, CRMI, in accordance with CRMI Regulation 2021. These students are entitled to receive a stipend at the same rate as Indian medical graduates.

“This option of transfer/migration/mobility shall be availed within 3 months from the date of issue of this public notice” reads the notice.

FMG Aspirants From Philippines

Beginning with the publication of the FMGL Regulation, 2021, the National Medical Commission of the Philippines (NMC) has decided to de-recognize the BS Course in the Philippines.

Consequently, those who were studying or having been admitted to the BS Course at the time the FMGL Regulation was published are no longer eligible to pursue the course.

However, those who had been admitted to the MD Course on or prior to 18 November 2021 are still eligible to take the course and write the FMGE Examination in India.

Upon qualification, these FMGs must complete one year of internship to make up for the deficiency in their training from their parent foreign medical college, followed by registration at a CRMI.
