Primary Section’s Classes Cancelled In West Bengal Due To Class 12 Board Exam 2024

The West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education (WBCHSE) has released an official notice regarding to the West Bengal 2024 class 12 board examination on 12 February 2024 on its official website @wbchse.wb.gov.in

The WBCHSE stated that “during the days of Higher secondary examination 2024, all activities including the classes of the primary section at all Integrated primary schools of West Bengal situated in the same premises along with examination venues will remain suspended for the days of examination”.

The official notice further added that “the primary schools which are not situated within the same premises along with higher secondary examination venues will remain operational during the examination”.

The West Bengal 2024 higher secondary examination i.e. class 12 exams are scheduled to be held from 16 February 2024 to 29 February 2024.

The West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education (WBCHSE) has also informed all the venue supervisors and other concerned persons to take necessary steps related to this as per their convenience.

This year, the board has also made changes in the class 12 exam schedule, as a result, the examination will be held from 9:45 AM to 1 PM, except for physical education, visual arts, music, and vocational courses.
