QS World Rankings 2024: Chandigarh University secures top spot among the Indian universities 

In the latest release QS World University Rankings by Subject 2024, many Indian universities achieved outstanding results by securing top spots in different subjects & disciplines.

Chandigarh University among other universities bagged top positions in various disciplines including Hospitality Management, Computer Science & Information Systems, Engineering & Technology and others.

Rank 1 in Hospitality & Leisure Management

Chandigarh University is ranked number one in Hospitality & Leisure Management in India, setting a high standard in hospitality education. The university secured global rank, between 51 and 100, demonstrating excellence in Hospitality education on a global level.

Rank 9 in Social Sciences & Management

CU excels in leadership and strategic management, securing 9th rank  among Indian HEIs. On  a global level CU ranks #318, reflecting innovative programs and visionary approach of the university.

Rank 10 in Computer Science & Information Systems

The Chandigarh University leads the way in future technology and innovation studies, ranking at 10th among India’s top HEIs. CU with its global ranking between #251-300 highlights its success in developing tech talent and driving global digital transformation.

Rank 11 in Engineering & Technology

Engineering & Technology is one of the hot favorite subjects to pursue after 12th for science students. The CU ranked at number 11 in India among the other higher education institutions. With world class infrastructure and teaching environment, the university bagged a global rank of 332.

Rank 14 in Engineering – Mechanical, Aeronautical & Manufacturing

Mechanical, Aernautical and Manufacturing are considered core engineering disciplines with evergreen scope and abundant future opportunities. The university was among the top 15 institutions in these disciplines and globally between #351-400.

Rank 18 in Business & Management Studies
