UGC NET 2023 December 6 Exam Rescheduled, New Date Here

UGC NET 2023 Exam Rescheduled: The UGC NET 2024 exam was scheduled to be held from 6 December to 14 December 2023 in 83 subjects in an online mode across the country but now the dates have been revised.

On 12 December 2023, the NTA issued a notice regarding the rescheduling of the UGC NET Dec exam 2024 for the candidates of Chennai and Nellore who were affected by a natural calamity “Michaung”.

The UGC NET 2023 exam is now scheduled for 14 December 2023 for the candidates of Chennai and Nellore. 

What Does The NTA’s Official Notice Read?

The notice issued by the NTA on 12 December 2023, reads that “due to natural calamity (Michaung) in Chennai and Andra Pradesh many candidates were not able to reach the exam centres and not appear in the UGC NET Dec exam 2024 scheduled on 06th December 2023”.

“Therefore, the National Testing Agency has decided to give another opportunity to the candidates so that they can appear in the UGC NET December 2023 exam, which will be conducted on 14th December 2023 for cyclone-affected candidates in Chennai and Nellore” reads the NTA’s official notice.
