Jharkhand Class 9 Students Died In Classroom, Police Investigation Ongoing 

Class 9 Student Died In Jharkhand, Dhanbad: A 9th class 15-year-old student suddenly collapsed and died while sitting in the classroom in Jharkhand’s district Dhanbad on 18 December 2023, Monday. 

This incident took place in Loharabad around 170km from Ranchi. As per the reports, the boy collapsed and fell on the ground around 12:15 p.m. 

The school principal, Indrani Ghosh stated that the boy was studying in his classroom with all the other students and suddenly collapsed.

He was then immediately rushed to a nearby private hospital “Shahid Nirmal Mahto Medical College Hospital (SNMMCH)” in Saraidhela where the doctors declared him dead. 

What Was The Reason Of His Sudden Death? 

As per the boy’s father Jagdish Saw, he has a severe heart problem but he didn’t have any serious symptoms that he would die all of a sudden.

The police have not yet stated any reason for the student’s death. Bikram Singh, Barwadda police in charge stated, that they would initiate the reason only after the postmortem reports were received.
