Mentioned below are some important instructions set out by the NTA for the JEE Main 2024 session 1 examination:

• Candidates are required to reach the examination center 2 hours before the examination starts for document verification. 
• If you don’t show up on time for any reason, like a traffic jam or a train/bus being late, you could miss out on some important instructions. The National Testing Agency will not be responsible for any delays.
• The candidate will have to download/print the admit card from the official website of the NTA to enter the examination hall. 
• Candidates who do not have a valid admit card and authorized photo IDs are not allowed to appear in the examination hall by the Centre Superintendent.
• Each aspirant will be assigned a seat with their roll number. Candidates should only sit in the seats they have been assigned. If someone changes their seat and does not sit in the one they have been assigned, their candidature will be canceled by the authority.
• The test-takers must ensure that the exam paper on their computer system is for the subject they have opted for. If there is any mishap or the question paper is not of the subjects selected you must immediately inform the invigilator.
• Electronic devices like mobile phones, calculators, earphones, etc, and eatables are not allowed inside the examination hall.
• In case of any medical emergency or technical issues candidates should reach out to the invigilator.
