The admission process for the 2024 Kendriya Vidyalaya class 1 was started by the authority on 1st April 2024 on its official website @kvsonlineadmission.kvs.gov.in

This year the KVS has changed the transfer policy for the private employee children or wards will not be able to avail the facility of a state transfer. This means that if the parents are private sector employees and are transferred to another state, their children will not be able to get a transfer.
According to reports, this strategy causes concern among parents because many of them work in the private sector and are constantly transferred to other states.
According to reports, the number of seats at Kendriya Vidyalaya has been reduced. Previously, 40 children were admitted into each class from primary to higher secondary but now only 32 seats are being accepted for admission. Whereas 8 seats were removed from each class in 2024.
Previously, the unoccupied seats in the KVs were reserved for the children of parents working in any field but this feature is now only available to parents who work for the government sectors.
The admission process for the class 1st in KVs for session 2024 is ongoing and will conclude on 15 April 2024 at 5:00 PM. After this, no one is allowed to submit their admission form to the authority.
