CBSE Released SOPs/Guidelines For Practical Exam 2024, Practicals will Cancel if Guidelines Not Followed

CBSE Board Practical Exam 2024 Updates: CBSE has directed school authorities nationwide to follow the guidelines and standard operating procedure (SOP) while conducting the board practical exam 2024. Failing to follow the orders, will lead to the cancellation of practical exams.

The authority has clarified that no request for a change or correction in practical exam 2024 marks will be entertained by any means once it is uploaded to the web portal. 

The authority will cancel the board practical exams 2024 only if any of the school authorities do not follow the rules and regulations set by the CBSE. 

“To bring in uniformity of instructions and to ensure the correctness of procedures “Guidelines and SOPs for the conduct of Practical Examinations/Project/Internal Assessment” of both the classes have been prepared by the Board” mentioned in the guidelines notice released on 11 December 2023. 

The CBSE board practical examination 2024 for regular session schools is scheduled to be conducted from 1 January 2024 to 14 February 2024.

CBSE 2024 Board Practical Exam Guidelines

Here are the guidelines and SOPs that the school authority needs to follow while conducting the CBSE 2024 board practical exams:

• Marks of the practical exams 2024 must be uploaded on the website in a sequence starting from the first date of commencement of the exam to the last date.
• The board will not provide any practical answer booklet for the class 10 practical exams 2024. The school authority will have to make arrangements themself. 
• After the class 10 practical exam 2024 is conducted, the school does not need to send it to the regional office. 
• The board will appoint an external examiner for class 12 practical exams 2024 along with an internal examiner of adequate experience for all the subjects. 
• School principals must keep the laboratory and required equipment ready one day before the practical exam being conducted. 
• The school shall ensure that the unique teacher ID allotted in the OASIS is used as the examiner number. 
• If schools do not comply with the Board’s directions, the Board reserves the right to cancel the practical examination.
