CUET UG 2024 Exam Pattern
    • The CUET UG 2024 exam will be conducted in hybrid mode i.e both CBT (computer-based test) and pen & paper based mode. It consists of four sections:
    • Section 1 (Part A)- 13 Languages (Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Gujarati, Odiya, Bengali, Assamese, Punjabi, English, Hindi, and Urdu)
    • Section 1 (Part B)- 20 Languages (French, Spanish, German, Nepali, Persian, Italian, Arabic, Sindhi, Kashmiri, Konkani, Bodo, Dogri, Maithili, Manipuri, Santhali, Tibetan, Japanese, Russian, Chinese, Sanskrit)
    • Section 2- 27 Domain Specific Subjects 
    • Section 3- General Test 

Candidates can choose a maximum of 6 subjects including languages (Indian & Foreign) and General Tests.

Candidates have to answer 40 out of 50 questions for all test papers and 50 out of 60 for the general test (a choice of 10 questions in all subjects).

Choice of Test Papers: Candidates can choose 6 test papers (4 or 5 domain subjects including general test and 1 or 2 languages).

New Changes in CUET UG 2024 Exam Pattern?

The major change in the CUET UG 2024 is that, this year a candidate is allowed to choose a maximum of 6 subjects (including languages, domain-specific and a general test). Last year, a candidate was allowed to select up to 10 subjects

This year, the CUET UG 2024 is conducted in hybrid mode (both CBT & pen paper-based), last year the exam was conducted only in CBT mode.
