Through a public notice, NTA has announced the extension of the last date for submission of online applications for the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Main) 2024 session 1.

Those who haven’t registered for JEE Main exam 2024 session 1 yet can do so by visiting the official website of NTA @jeemain.nta.ac.in
Previously, the last date for JEE Main 2024 Session 1 registration was 30 November 2023 till 9 PM and now candidates can apply till 04.12.2023 (up to 09.00 PM).

Eligibility Criteria For JEE Main 2024 Session 1
Mentioned below is a list of eligibility criteria that candidates must know before applying for JEE Main 2024 exam session 1:
- Candidates who have passed their 10+2 exam in 2022 and 2023 or will appear for the exam in 2024 are eligible to apply for JEE Main 2024 session 1.
- There is no specific age limit to apply for the exam however candidates must meet the age criteria in which they are taking admission.
- To be eligible for reservation for individuals with specified disabilities, the minimum level of disability must be at least 40% (benchmark disability).
- Students who have passed their 10+2 before 2021 or will appear in the examination of 2024-25 session or after are not eligible to apply.
- There is no minimum percentage to apply for the JEE Main 2024 session 1 but if you wish to be admitted to the IITs, NITs, etc universities you must have a score of 75% or more in the 10+2 examination.
- It is compulsory to have physics, chemistry, maths, and biology as major subjects in 10+2.
The JEE Main 2024 session 1 exam will be conducted between 24 January 2024 and 1 February 2024. The admit card for the same will be available three days before the examination.
