NDA 2024 Educational Qualification Requirements
The NDA has set down strict educational criteria for aspiring candidates. However, the specific criteria vary depending on which wing of the academy you are interested in joining.
Army Wing of NDA
If you chose the Indian army wing then you have to match the eligibility criteria provided:
Qualification: Candidates must have passed/appeared in the 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognized board or university.
Education Pattern: This corresponds to the 10+2 standard.
Conducted by: State Education Board or University.
Air Force and Naval Wings of NDA
Candidates who want to apply for the Air Force and Naval wing. They can read the NDA educational qualification mentioned below:
Qualification: Candidates must have passed/appeared in the 12th class from a recognized board or university.
Subjects: In addition to the 12th class qualification, candidates must have studied Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.
Education Pattern: This corresponds to the 10+2 standard.
Conducted by: State Education Board or University.
UPSC conducts the NDA exam twice a month in the month of April and September. As per the UPSC exam calendar 2024, the NDA 2024 notification is going to be released on 20 December 2023. NDA 1 will be conducted on 21st April 2024 and NDA 2 will be conducted on 1st September 2024.
