NEET SS 2023 Counselling: MCC issues eligibility criteria for Special Round Counselling

NEET SS 2023 Special Round Counselling: The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has recently released a notice regarding the eligibility criteria for the NEET Super Speciality 2023 special round counselling.

To inform all candidates about the wastage of valuable medical seats for National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Super Speciality Courses (NEET SS), MCC has released a notice on the official website at mcc.nic.in

The official notice reads that “All the NEET SS 2023 eligible candidates are hereby informed that to prevent wastage of precious medical seats, the competent authority decided to conduct a Special Round for the vacant DM/M.Ch and DNB SS Seats of AIQ”.

What is the NEET SS 2023 Counselling Eligibility Creteria

Below we have given the eligibility creteria for the NEET SS 2023 special round counselling –

1. Resignation will be permitted only for those joined candidates, who have been allotted seats in INI institutes;
2. The candidates who have joined round 1 or round 2 seats of MCC and not allotted INI seats, will not be allowed to resign from their joined seats;
3. The upgradation facility will be available in Special Round to all candidates who have joined in Round 1 and Round 2 of MCC counselling 2023;
4. Candidates willing to participate in the Special Round or willing to upgrade previously allotted seats have to fill in fresh choices in the Special round. Earlier filled choices will be treated as null and void.

As per the NEET SS 2023 counselling official schedule on 5 February 2024 the online registration has also started and the last day to submit the application form is 6 February 2024 up to 7:00 p.m.
