Chhattisgarh Education Institutes Closed on 22 January 2024: The Chhattisgarh government has announced the holiday of the schools and colleges in the state due to the Ram Mandir “Pran Pratishtha” ceremony.

All the private and government schools, colleges, and universities will remain shut in Chhattisgarh state on 22 January 2024 (Monday).

Due to the historical ceremony, the state will experience a massive crowd, and considering the safety of the students the Chhattisgarh’s state government has declared the holiday. 

Govt Statement For Holiday on 22 Jan

“Amid the ongoing “Pran Pratishtha” ceremony in Ram Mandir Ayodhya, all the schools and colleges will remain shut in Chhattisgarh on 22 January 2024”, said Chhattisgarh’s state minister Brijmohan Agrawal. 

Along with the school and college holidays, the minister has also mentioned that a weekly free train service scheme will also be provided to travel from Chhattisgarh to Ayodhya. 

The Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, promised that the people of Chhattisgarh will get to travel for free to Ayodhya on 22 January 2024 to visit the Ram Mandir. 

Previously the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Yogi Adityanath also announced the holiday for all education institutes in the state for 22 January 2024. 

Meanwhile, Lucknow University has also rescheduled the commerce, physics, chemistry, software development, biochemistry, and other examinations that were scheduled for 22 January 2024 due to the Ram Mandir inauguration.
