CUET UG 2024 information bulletin Released: The National Testing Agency (NTA) on 27 February 2024 has released the information bulletin of the CUET UG 2024 examination on its official website @exams.nta.ac.in/CUET-UG

New Changes in CUET UG 2024

Candidates applying for the CUET UG 2024 examination are required to check out the following major changes that are done in the CUET UG exam for session 2024 by the NTA.

CUET UG 2024 Official Website

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has changed the official website for the CUET UG 2024 examination from cuet.samarth.ac.in to exams.nta.ac.in/CUET-UG

All the candidates applying for the CUET UG 2024 examination are required to go to the official website and follow the step-by-step form filling instructions to fill out their application form without any mistakes.

Application Fees

The NTA has increased the application form fees for the CUET UG 2024 examination by Rs 250 for GEN category, 200 for OBC and 150 for SC/ST/PwD. The candidates have to pay Rs 1000 for the gen category, Rs 900 for OBC, Rs 800 for SC, ST, and PwD for exam centres in India, and Rs 4500 to get centres outside India for 3 subjects for the exam.

Along with the fees for the CUET UG 2024 application form, the authority also stated that the candidates have to pay extra fees for every additional subject.

No. of Subjects

Last year in (CUET UG 2023) candidates were allowed to choose a maximum of 10 subjects (Languages, Domain Specific and General Test) from all 3 sections.

This year in (CUET UG 2024) candidates are allowed to choose a maximum of 6 subjects (Languages, Domain Specific and General Test) from all 3 sections.

Exam In Hybrid Mode

The CUET UG 2024 examination is scheduled to be held completely in a hybrid mode i.e. pen paper mode as well as CBT mode. The CUET UG 2024 information bulletin also stated that the subjects for which the hybrid mode is adopted will solely depend on the candidate count after the registration is completed.

Choices Of Exam City

The NTA has also revised the criteria for the selection of the examination city for the candidates. Previously the candidates appearing for the CUET UG exam can select any 2 cities of their choice to take the exam but now the candidates are free to select 4 cities of their choice as their preferred exam centres.

As per the CUET UG 2024 official schedule, the registration for the examination will conclude on 26 March 2024 at 11:50 PM, so the candidates are required to register accordingly.
