IIT Madras is set to conduct the JEE Advanced 2024 examination on 26 May, as less than a week is left for the exam candidates should know about exam instructions and the required document list to carry on exam hall.

Because every year, many candidates get debarred from taking the JEE Advanced examination, due to a lack of knowledge about the exam day guidelines. To conduct a hassle-free exam process, the authority has set some instructions to be followed by the aspirants on the exam day.

JEE Advanced 2024 Exam Day Guidelines

Candidates can check the JEE Advanced 2024 exam day instructions and documents required on the exam day below.

• Candidates should reach the JEE Advanced 2024 exam hall 2 hours prior to the exam scheduled timing to perform proper frisking by the authority.
• Candidates should bring their JEE Advanced admit card 2024 along with a government photo ID proof with them on the exam day.
• No extra time will be allowed for the candidates to complete the examination if extra time is taken by them to complete frisking formalities.
• Candidates are allowed to take pens, and pencils inside the examination hall.
• Watches, mobile phones, Bluetooth devices, earphones, microphones, pagers, health bands, any unusual paper, log tables, writing pads, scales, erasers, geometry boxes, pouches, calculators, pen drives, electronic pens, wallets, handbags, cameras, goggles are not allowed in the exam hall.
• Candidates are advised not to wear any charms, rings, bracelets, earrings, nose pins, chains, necklaces, pendants, badges, brooches, or clothes with big buttons.
• Aspirants should wear open footwear like chappals and sandals.
• Items that could be used for unfair means, or for hiding communication devices like a microchip, camera, bluetooth device, etc., are not permitted.
• Candidates are strongly advised to bring drinking water in transparent bottles.

JEE Advanced 2024 examination will have 2 papers i.e. paper 1 starts from 9 AM to 12 PM and paper 2 starts from 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM.
