NEET PG 2024 Registration & Application Process Explained Here

The National Board of Education in Medical Science (NBEMS) released the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Post Graduate (NEET PG) application form in online mode. The direct link to apply for the same is provided in this article.

Candidates who want to take the upcoming NEET PG session examination that is scheduled to take place on 23 June 2024 are first required to fill out the application form. The application form was released on 16 April and the last date to apply is 6 May 2024 upto 11:55 PM

Many of the candidates often make some major mistakes at the time of registration for the examination which results in the form rejection of the candidate. To help candidates overcome this, we have included in this article a comprehensive, step-by-step guide on how to fill out the NEET PG application form.

NEET PG 2024 Application Form-Filling Process

There are 6 steps included in the NEET PG 2024 application form filling.

• Online Registration
• Login to portal
• Filling Application Form
• Uploading Documents
• Select Test City
• Fee payment
• Confirmation and Print of form

Steps 1- Online Registration

All candidates applying for NEET-PG 2023 are required to create an online profile of themselves to generate a UserID and Password.

• Visit the official website @nbe.edu.in
• Click on NEET PG 2024 registration.
• Select the “New Registration” option.
• An instruction page will appear on the screen, read it and click on “Proceed” further.
• Enter basic personal details (candidate’s name, date of birth, gender, nationality, email ID, and provided security pin).
• A confirmation page will be displayed.

An application number and password will be sent to the registered email ID of the candidates. Keep the login credentials for further use.

Step 2- Login

On the official website click on the “Application” option and log in with the help of the generated application number and password.

If the Login password is lost, it can be retrieved by clicking “Forgot Your Password”.

Step 3- Filling Out Application

Click on the “Go to application” option. A new page will appear on the screen. Fill out the NEET PG 2024 registration form with

• Personal Detail- Father’s name, mother’s name, religion, gender, nationality, persons with a disability, AFMS category, mobile number, and email ID
• Communication Detail: The communication details include the permanent and correspondence address of the applicant.
• Qualification Detail: MBBS details of a candidate like the name of the university, year of passing, address of university, medical council registration details, and the examination marks of MBBS

Once the fields are filled click on the “save and next” option.

Step 4- Upload Documents

After filling out the NEET PG 2024 application form, all the candidates are required to upload their documents such as:-

• A passport-sized colored photograph of a candidate with a white background.
• Signature of the candidate.
• Left thumb impression of a candidate.
• MBBS qualification certificate of the candidate

It is to be noted that all documents uploaded by the candidate are scanned only. Whereas, the size of the uploaded documents of the candidate should be 50 KB to 80 KB in a JPG and JPEG format.

Documents not following these resolutions will not be accepted by the authority.

Step 5- Select Test City

Now candidates have to select the city for the NEET PG 2024 examination. A list of available test cities will appear on the screen.

The test city can be selected from available choices on a first come first serve basis. While the city will be chosen by the candidate himself/herself at the time of online submission of the application form, allotment of the test center/venue in the chosen city shall be done by NBEMS.

Step 6- Payment Of Application Fees

In this step, candidates should not make any mistakes. The NEET PG 2024 application fee is Rs 4250 for the general/OBC candidates whereas, the application fee for the SC/ST/PwD candidates is Rs 3250. 

The application fees for the NEET PG 2024 exam are to be paid in online mode only. Any other mode of fee payment is not provided by the authority.

Step 7- Printout of Confirmation Page

Once after paying the fees a confirmation page will be displayed on the screen. Candidates are required to take a screenshot or print out the page for further reference. A PDF of the NEET PG application submission confirmation page will be also sent to the candidates’ email IDs.
