NEET PG 2024 Exam Fees Reduced: The National Board of Education in Medical Science has announced a reduction in the application fees for the NEET PG 2024 examination by Rs 750 in every category.

This decision aims to benefit a large number of candidates who are financially weak and preparing for the upcoming NEET PG 2024 examination.

The NEET PG 2024 examination is scheduled to be held on 7 July 2024 whereas the registration process for the same is expected to start in the 1st week of May. However, no official announcement regarding to this has been made by the authority till now.

NEET PG 2024 Revised Examination Fees

The reduced amount of the NEET PG 2024 exam fee is now lower than the application fee imposed in 2013. Previously, in 2013, the application fee for the NEET PG 2024 exam in general and OBC categories was Rs 3,750, which was then raised to Rs 4,250 in 2021.

Similarly, in 2013, the application fee for the NEET PG 2024 exam for SC, ST, and PWD candidates was Rs 2,750, which was raised to Rs 3,250 in 2021. 

However, as of January 1, 2024, the registration fees for the NEET PG 2024 examination have been reduced to Rs 3,500 for the general and OBC categories and Rs 2500 for the SC, ST, and PWD categories.

Dr. Abhijat Sheth said, “I want to start by expressing my appreciation and thanks to Union Minister Mansukh Mandaviya for his leadership, which has allowed NBEMS to successfully achieve its goal and raise the standard of medical education in India.”

Dr. Abhijat Sheth further added that any candidate who submits the application form for the forthcoming examination after January 1, 2024, will be given the benefit of the fee reduction,” the letter stated.

He also said that the exam fee reduction for the NEET PG 2024 exam would not have been possible without inputs from the Union health minister.
