The National Testing Agency (NTA) has successfully conducted the NEET UG 2024 examination in 554 cities across more than 4000 examination centres on, 5 May 2024, in which 24 lakh+ aspirants have appeared for the examination.

As the examination is concluded, several students and other experts have shared their views and experiences about the difficulty level of the NEET UG 2024 exam on various social media platforms.

As per the reactions shared by students who have taken the NEET UG 2024 exam, the overall difficulty level of the examination was moderate.

NEET UG 2024 Section Wise Exam Analysis

The NEET UG 2024 examination has 3 sections i.e. physics, chemistry, and biology, whereas, the candidates can check the detailed exam analysis for all the sections of the exam below.

NEET UG 2024 Physics Exam Analysis

As per the details provided by the students, the exam was difficult and lengthy, especially compared to last year. Most questions were numerical (70-75%), with the rest being theory-based and some questions required long calculations, making them time-consuming.

The MCQ section was a little tricky and one question was outside the NTA-recommended syllabus.

NEET UG 2024 Chemistry Exam Analysis

Questions in the chemistry section were easy to moderate, several were mostly within NCERT’s scope, and some questions were exactly in NCERT’s language. There were 11 numerical questions and rest were questions.

Sections A and B had equal numbers of questions from Organic, Inorganic, and Physical Chemistry.

NEET UG 2024 Biology Exam Analysis

Looking towards the difficulty levels of the biology section botany was easy to moderate and zoology was moderate but lengthy.

Botany

Questions were from NCERT but few were tricky and two with options beyond NCERT. Questions were both fact-based and concept-based.

Zoology

The class XII syllabus was more prominent and questions were mostly match-the-column type. Few candidates said that some options required knowledge beyond NCERT.

The authority will be going to release the answer key for the NEET UG 2024 examination in the 2nd week of May 2024 on its official website @exams.nta.ac.in/NEET
