A total of 760606 candidates appeared in the Tamil Nadu Class 12 exam, of whom 719196 passed, achieving an overall pass percentage of 94.56%. In Science, 96.35 % students passed, in commerce 92.46 and in arts stream 85.67 per cent students passed the examination.
