UP Board 2024 Class 10 Students To Get Bonus Marks In Maths Exam, Check Why

UP Board Exam 2024 Latest Updates: The UPMSP has concluded the UP board 2024 class 10 examination on 9 March 2024 and has started the answer sheet evaluation procedure. However, in a recent announcement, the board stated that the students of class 10 will get extra marks.

The UP board has conducted the class 10 mathematics examination on 27 February 2024 in various test centres across the state, whereas, it was discovered later that question number 4 in Paper Series IA was out of the syllabus.

Similarly, all four options given in question number 17 of the same question paper were incorrect. However, both of the questions carry 1 mark each, so, the students who have paper IA will get 2 marks extra in the UP board class 10 exam 2024.

Moreover, the students who get the IB set of class 10 question papers will get a 1 mark bonus as question 5 of the paper consists of more than 1 correct option.

The secretary of Madhyamik Siksha Parishad (UPMSP) prayagraj, Mr. Dibyakant Shukla stated that this was a mistake of the board so the students would get extra marks for the wrong questions.

He also added that a total of 20,93,548 students have taken the UP board class 10 mathematics exam 2024. however, the teachers who were evaluating the U.P. Board exam answer sheets were strictly ordered to check the answers carefully.

Previously, these errors were found in some subjects so, for this time, improvement has been shown as a result of having the question papers made by experienced teachers only, he stated.
