These guidelines have been created in response to the demand for a framework of law and to control the rapid growth of private coaching institutions.

Guidelines For Coaching Centres 2024

Coaching centres newly opening or already established first have to register themselves. If any coaching have If they multiple branches, they are required to fill out an application specifically for each branch.

All the coaching centers have to make a website which should have all the up-to-date information regarding the qualification of tutors, courses/curriculum, duration of completion, hostel facilities, and the fees being charged.

Only candidates who have completed their secondary school exams are eligible to enroll in coaching centers. Students under the age of sixteen cannot be enrolled in coaching centers.

The fees for every course should be fair and reasonable and if a candidate has given a complete fee for a course and he/she leaves the course in the middle of the prescribed period, a student will be refunded from out of the fees deposited earlier for the remaining period on a pro-rata basis within 10 days.

Additionally, coaching centers also can’t make misleading promises and guarantee rank or good marks.

The state government will be responsible for monitoring the activities of the coaching centre and enquiring about any coaching centre regarding the fulfillment of required eligibility of registration and satisfactory activities of the coaching centre as per the guidelines.

If any of the rules or guidelines are going to be broken by the coaching centre then owners will have to pay a penalty of Rs 25,000/- for the first offense, Rs. 1,00,000/- for the second offense, and cancellation of registration for a subsequent offense and strict action will be taken in the third offense.
