JEE Aspirant Dies By Suicide In Kota: Coaching hub Kota, which is known for its variety of coachings and educational institutes, is gradually becoming a suicide hub and the reason for this is the increasing number of suicide cases happening in the city.

Another incident occurred in Kota on Monday 29 January 2024, when an 18-year-old student who was preparing for the JEE Main 2024 exam in Kota, Rajasthan hung herself in her room due to exam stress and anxiety.

As per the PTI reports, the deceased was a girl preparing for the JEE Main 2024 exam. She is living with her family in Shiv Vihar colony, Borekheda, Kota, Rajasthan. She was the eldest daughter of her family.

What Was Written In Her Suicide Note?

Police said that the deceased had written a suicide note to her parents in which she said “ Mummy Papa I can’t do JEE, so I suicide” She also wrote, “ I am a loser and a worst daughter”. She apologised to her parents for not being able to crack the JEE Main 2024 exam, and at last, she said “Yahi Last Option Hai”.

As per the deceased family, around 10 PM, her grandmother knocked at her door many times, after no response her family hurriedly looked at her room through the ventilator and found her hanging in her ceiling fan.

The reporters said that the father of the deceased is a security guard at a private bank in Kota. They added that the decease was going to take her JEE Main 2024 exam on 30 or 31 January 2024 but she was going through a lot of exam pressure for her exam.

Her cousin told the police that she was repeating her class 12 exam because she got a low score, however, her cousin also told the police that she was good at her studies and every day devotee 6-7 hours in her studies.

This was the 2nd suicide case that happened in Kota within a week, whereas, 26 suicide cases among the students of Kota, Rajasthan were recorded in 2023, according to the PTI.
