Delhi Boy Suicide Case Updates: A shocking incident occurred in Delhi’s Shankar Vihar area where a class 10 student committed suicide on Wednesday morning i.e. 21 February 2024. The deceased was a 16-year-old boy who was supposed to take the 2024 class 10 board examination on 21 Feb 2024.

The police stated that “the deceased was a class X student of Army Public School Shankar Vihar. He committed suicide by hanging himself with chunni,” said Deputy Commissioner of Police (southwest) Rohit Meena.

The officer said the boy’s father is a head constable in the Army and his mother is a housewife, however, no suicide note was found in his room.

The victim’s family stated that the school authorities have refused to issue the class 10 board exam admit card 2024 to the student, however, in response to them, the school authorities refused the allegations stated by the police.

The police further stated that following the autopsy, we handed over the body to his parents. We are confirming the facts on the admit card.

The student’s father complained to the police, claiming that the school administration had denied his son an exam entrance card, leading to the filing of a formal complaint against Army Public School in Shankar Vihar.

The boy’s father claimed in the complaint he filed with the Vasant Vihar Police Station on Thursday that his son was also asked to pay a substantial fee for breaking a chair in the school, according to an officer.

The administration of the school did not respond to the situation right away. The father further claimed that his son and wife were the targets of “misbehaviour” by the school administration.
