WBBSE 2024 Class 10 Question Papers Leaked, Paper Images Circulated on Social Media

West Bengal Board Class 10 Exam 2024 Updates: Since the West Bengal class 10 board examination session 2024 has started students are allegedly sharing question paper images on the social media apps from the exam center. 

Previously, the English and Bengali subject exam question papers were circulated on social media. On 5 February 2024, Monday, a third paper of History was also uploaded by the students.  

Three students were disqualified for taking pictures of the History question paper a few minutes after the paper was distributed and uploaded on online apps such as Instagram and Facebook. 

All West Bengal class 10 board exam three students owned mobile phones which they discreetly snuck into the examination hall. 

Along with the other 14 students penalized previously, a total of 17 students were barred from appearing in the WBBSE class 10 examination in 2024, all these students belonged to the Malda and Jalpaiguri districts. 

Official’s Statement on the WBBSE 2024 Class 10 “Paper Leak”

“Three more students are banned from appearing for the future examination. They tried to blur the unique QR code on each sheet of the question paper before circulating it on social media but still could not escape the detection” officials mentioned, as per ABP News authority. 

According to them, the three candidates belonged to two different schools situated in the Malda district of West Bengal. 

A total of 17 students have been penalized till now. 12 candidates are disqualified for clicking pictures of the English paper, 2 for the Bengali paper, and 3 for sharing the History question paper on 2, 3, and 5 February 2024. 

In a press conference, BJP leader Shankudeb Panda mentioned that “the TMC government is accountable for the paper leak as they have reduced the entire secondary examination system”. 

Shankudeb Panda, BJP leader, also demanded that instead of suspending the students from the board examinations the authorities should punish the officials conducting the examination.
