Noida Schools Latest Updates: The district magistrate Maneesh Kumar Verma, of the Gautam Buddha Nagar, announced that all the schools in Noida and Greater Noida up to 8th class will remain shut till January 14, 2024, due to the ongoing cold wave in the city.

As per the previously issued notice of the Delhi government, all schools in Noida were closed till 6th January 2024 up to class 8th whereas the timings for the students of class 9 to 12 were changed to 10 AM to 3 PM.
But, the new announcement of the Govt, of Uttar Pradesh has extended the closure period of the Noida schools by 1 week whereas the timings for classes 9 to 12 are still the same.
The district basic educational office, Rahul Panwar, stated that this order will be applicable to all schools recognised by the state, CBSE, ICSE, Ib, and other boards.
Further, Mr. Rahul Panwar added that this order should be strictly followed in every school in Noida and Greater Noida.
As per reports, today’s temperature in western Uttar Pradesh has decreased to 9 degrees Celsius and is expected to remain between 9 degrees Celsius to 13 degrees Celsius during the next 6 days.
Whereas, the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has also issued a high alert for fog and cold waves with a prediction of thunderstorms, lightning, squalls, and fog in the next 48 hours in western Uttar Pradesh.
