On Wednesday evening, 13 March 2024, a sad incident occurred in Noida when a class 7 teen boy died after jumping off from the 22nd floor of a high-rise building. The locals and the parents of the boy took the boy to a nearby hospital where doctors declared him dead.

The deceased was a 14-year-old boy who lives in Noida’s Ecovillage 3 residency with his parents and younger sister. It came to light that the boy has given his class 7th final examination 2024 whose result was set to be declared today, 14 March 2024.

The other people of the residency immediately informed the police about the incident and the Bisrakh police rushed to the spot within time.

Police Official’s Statement About The Incident

In an interrogation, the mother of the deceased boy stated that around 5 PM the boy told her that he was going out to play when he went to the terrace of the building.

The police officer in charge of the case said “The family of the deceased denies the fact that he was under any pressure of studies or exam results. However, the deceased’s family has wished for further investigation in the case”.

Police also stated that the boy died on the spot after falling from the 22nd floor of his residential building. Whereas, the body of the deceased boy will be handed over to the family once the postmortem is done.

The case is being checked from every angle and the police will investigate whether the student has committed suicide or whether there is some other reason behind this.
