Why Are Haryana School Timings Changed?
The education department has sent out a message to the district fundamental and district education officers telling them to start implementing the new school timings for Haryana. Before, schools had to be shut down in some areas because of pollution and really bad air quality.
In Noida, Gurugram, Delhi NCR and Faridabad the government has ordered to suspend conducting the school for pre-primary classes till 10 November 2023, the schools are said to remain closed till further notice.
Because of poor air quality and high AQI levels in these places, the government has to close the schools and order the school authorities to conduct the classes in online mode and change the school timings.
Due to low air quality, the state government has also decided to start the winter breaks in Delhi schools early. All the government and private schools are ordered to remain closed from 9 to 18 November 2023.
